the contention over the Palestinian right of return “irresolvable,” it was no surprise that this issue was one of the summit’s deal breakers.

an opinion of an author, and an uninformed one.

lol... Peisi...You're hopeless at this point.

hopeless is the opinion that refugees broke the summit. I cited Barak and Clinton (whom else do u want?) clearing attributing the failure of CD to the Jerusalem issue. Not enough authority for you?

LOL.... It's funny how you keep running away from your own quotes... You cited Barak and Clinton (AS IF somehow showing (if you could) the primary failure of CD would confirm or support your quotes??  IT CLEARLY WOULD NOT (even if you were able to make your point...lol)... AND HOW MUCH EVIDENCE DID YOU IGNOR AND DO YOU CONTINUE TO IGNOR ?... that's what exposes you Peisi... How much evidence you have to PURPOSELY IGNOR to keep your clearly biased views... lol  Wink

everyone was cool with the 1967 borders

Give them the 1967 borders now, and you will have peace
Quote from: Peisithanatos
Palestinians demanded nothing more that the 1967 land...

As I previously stated: Anyone who looks objectively at Camp David, or for that matter any other peace negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians would quickly realize that MANY, MANY issues between the 2 remain unresolvedBorders, let alone, '67 borders, while certainly important, ARE ONLY ONE ISSUE and will clearly not, in themselves, bring peace.  To "pretend" (or wishfully think) that borders are the only issue...or that Hamas would quietly go away if Israel was to conceed '67 borders is, well, in a word, RIDICULOUS.

And keep your eye on the ball Peisi... Quoting Camp David participants (as I can and have done as well, which of course, you've prefered to ignor or simply write off) as to their opinions as to what caused the failure (that time), DOESN'T MAKE THE OTHER ISSUES WHICH HAVE NEVER BEEN RESOLVED GO AWAY.  That being the case, your 3 quotes above are clearly baseless and remain unsupported.  Your pretending otherwise is quite humorous at this point and clearly exposes the extreme bias of your agenda, ...but by all means, don't stop now... lol
