How many times did Fox announce that WMDs were found in Iraq?

Coulter is perhaps the sloppiest researecher ever, it seems as if she tries to get her facts wrong.

Rush is like this guy Elliot, he doesn't often flat out lie (although he does) he just spreads BS coated spin (Democrats are traitors that want to aid Al Qaeda destroy America.)

O'Reilly is the king of having his head up his ass, factually.

Fox reported facts. WMD WAS found in Iraq. To my knowledge, they didn't misstate what was found and where. They did EXACTLY what a news organization should do....report what, who, when and where.

I'd be happy to talk about Coulter, Limbaugh or O'Reilly but you didn't give any specific examples so I really don't know where to start. Let's not confuse opinion with statements of fact, though.

Here is a perspective on the matter by Shawn Macomber. From The American Spectator, charter member of the vast right wing conspiracy. Wink

Yup... and when you can't find any legitimate criticisms of a web site you want to trash a popular tactic of the vast right wing conspiracy is to cherry pick a bunch of comments of readers to make the readers look like kooks. Just like this American Spectator article. This would be like if I wanted to make IAP look bad and just quoted Delta9 and Pathetic as examples of what we all are like. Not very honest as far as I am concerned.

Who would know if they lied anyway? No one is listening.

Atleast coinservative talk radio gets liberals to listen so they know what has been spun, stretched or down right dishonestly represented

Well... last I heard Air America radio has more than a million and a half listeners. Thats not exactly no one. And there are plenty of conservatives listening as I hear them repeating right wing talking points in calls to the station on a frequent basis.

This is the beauty of the media - these people fall all over themselves to show you just how ignorant and irrelevant they are.

Don't be upset - be thankful that Elliot (in case you didn't know this) is just another wind bag.

Like Rush. He throws things in the fire because if it is controversial, even made up, it is worth talking about, if you are an idiot.

Now I have not actually ever listened to Elliot so I don't really know what he says. Have you actually listened to him or are you just assuming that he is another wind bag like Rush? So far I have not heard any AA hosts who are as big an idiot as Rush so I suspect you don't know what your talking about.

And I can show thousands of examples of right wing punditry getting their facts wrong but anyone would have a hard time showing more than a few examples of the left wing punditry getting their facts wrong.

You've got a captive audience...would love to hear it.

A good place to check out right wing BS is Media Matters or Crooks and Liars. Most left wing web sites, radio shows and TV shows regularly show examples of the right's dishonesty. Its not hard to find.

Fox reported facts. WMD WAS found in Iraq. To my knowledge, they didn't misstate what was found and where. They did EXACTLY what a news organization should do....report what, who, when and where.

My God... you actually still believe we found WMD in Iraq? That is one of the biggest right wing lies going around and you show your gullibility when you repeat this load of BS. OH... and vintage 1980s chemical weapons that couldn't kill any one don't count. Unless your talking about Weapons of Mild Discomfort  Grin

I'd be happy to talk about Coulter, Limbaugh or O'Reilly but you didn't give any specific examples so I really don't know where to start. Let's not confuse opinion with statements of fact, though.

Why bother with you. I know from past experience with you that as soon as I show an example you can't refute you will just not respond. But just to be sure... here is one off the top of my head...

If you listen to Rush with any regularity I'm sure you have heard him state that of the people who work for minimum wage, 75% of them are teenagers just out of high school in entry level positions. Well the truth if you go and look it up with the census bureau is that that number is really less than 40%. This is a perfect example of Rush pulling a number directly out of his ass. And he does this kind of thing on a regular basis and people suck it up without question.

Please point out any errors in the story. I don't really care for either The American Spectator or Air America, but that is not relevant. A favorite tactic of Frankfurt School cultural marxists, of which Air America is certainly one, is to scream "right winger" rather than answer criticism.

MEDIA MATTERS? Are you SERIOUS??!! I'd be ashamed to throw that one out. If that's all you've got then it's game over.

Nice qualifier.

Show us the 'lie.' I give you odds of success over a crack-pot group like 'Media Matters.'

I have to say I laughed pretty good when you wrote that, though.

Damn neue... are you so brainwashed into thinking that Media Matters can't be believed that your knee-jerk reaction made it impossible to read the rest of the sentence? Media Matters was clearly not all I've got. What about Crooks and Liars? What about the point I made about lots of liberal media outlets showing right wing BS. Seams to me your just parroting the conservative BS about Media Matters that has been created lately to defend Rush's "phony soldiers" comment. And you are doing exactly what I am accusing the right of doing. You are criticizing Media Matters without giving any examples of why they are not to be believed. If Media Matters is so bad why don't you show us why. And because Rush said so is not a reason. Show us where they have gotten something wrong. I doubt if you can.

From that same Fox news article...

Quote
Offering the official administration response to FOX News, a senior Defense Department official pointed out that the chemical weapons were not in useable conditions.

"This does not reflect a capacity that was built up after 1991," the official said, adding the munitions "are not the WMDs this country and the rest of the world believed Iraq had, and not the WMDs for which this country went to war."

As far as I am concerned, if the weapons found can't cause "mass destruction" then they are in fact not WMD. Now, you can continue to delude yourself into thinking these weapons were WMD like most Bush supporters like you but me and most of the rest of the world know better.

Oh... and thanks for proving my point that you wouldn't even respond to any right wing lies I pointed out like you asked for. It just goes to show every one that you can't defend much of what idiots like Rush say.

Their sloppiness and blatant dishonesty regarding both O'Reilly and Limbaugh disqualify them as a reputable source. CNN is no better for using them as a source, either.

Did you state some specific examples?
