So we have to move the topics or our last replies ourself if we want to continue a conversation.  Sad
When the archives will be deleted?

Is there a way to move an entire thread?

I would like to bring Silver Linings' Obit here.

I don't think we can do that.....  but yes that thread would be nice to have here.  You'll have to ask chovy specifically about that please

You can split a thread...even choose which posts you want to include in the split -- nice feature, I did it earlier in the Logo Contest vs. Forum Software discussion.

We can split from IAP 1.0 to here?

I went over to try and it looks the same as before...I can select a forum to move the split to...but won't that stay in IAP 1.0?

yes...they are totally seperate. The only way to *move* a post from 1.0 to 2.0 is to copy-n-paste it (which I don't recommend).

Or export the table in mySQL and import it int this DB.

Messy, and will require some small amount of fiddleing but it can be done.

Exactly how would you go about it, specifically? And welcome to the Boards!  Cool
