I don't know if any of you have seen Gwar live, or have even heard of them, but I saw them Saturday night, and let me just say: it was the craziest shit I have ever seen.
They had a Pope puppet dressed up in Nazi gear, a Bush puppet that they chopped up with an axe, a demon puppet and a Bam Margera puppet that spit blood out into the audience, and so on.
See them if you can, cause you'll definitely remember it. Just be prepared to be covered in shit that you can't get off untill three days later.

They are still around? WTF? Yeah, it's DLR, Eddie VH, Alex VH, and Wolfgang VH, who I think is Eddie's son playing bass. I've never seen VH with Roth. |

Alright, check this out. One of my favorite bands, who is from Finland and never comes to the US (let alone Kansas) is playing tomorrow, Halloween night downtown. I was all bummed because I can't afford to go. So I've been listening to the radio trying to get tickets, and I actually got through for once, but was too early and didn't win them. I hang up the phone, my brother calls me two minutes to tell me he just won them. Crazy.

They do put on a good show. I've seen them with DLR & with Hagar. Hagar may be more musically gifted, but Lee Roth is the voice of Van Halen. Were the old bastard's able to get around stage ok? |
